Graphite Casting Mould

The graphite mold has better high temperature resistance, the performance is still stable at high temperature, and the amount of thermal expansion and cold shrinkage is very small and can be ignored;
Graphite has good lubricity, and the molten metal is not easy to adhere to the mold during the solidification process. And it has the characteristics of good thermal conductivity, good wear resistance and high mechanical strength.
Graphite molds are mostly used for continuous casting of copper and aluminum, platinum, gold, silver, other non-ferrous metals, steel, stainless steel, etc.
 
According to the casting method, it can be divided into two types: horizontal continuous casting mold or vertical (upward) continuous casting mold.
